As AI rapidly changes the world, I spent a lot of time wondering whether IT was really the right path for me. I'm not in my twenties anymore, and perhaps more than most people, I can feel just how fast things are moving. But after thinking it through, I came to see it differently. The rise of AI-powered development isn't something to fear — it's a new door of opportunity.

Throughout my life, I've learned how to work with people, push through challenges, and solve problems in real situations. I'm still at the early stages in this field, but I'm confident in my ability to pick things up quickly.

I also believe one of my strengths is understanding what the people around me actually need. So rather than standing still, I want to keep building skills that I can use in the real world — and grow into someone who solves problems through technology.

Experience

Starting as a general employee, I developed hands-on practical skills on the ground.

As a manager, I strengthened leadership and communication by guiding a team forward.

As a CEO, I grew my strategic thinking and decision-making by running a business firsthand.

Through these diverse roles, I became someone who can adapt and contribute in any environment.

During the COVID‑19 period, I immigrated to New Zealand and began running a blog during the lockdowns. The blog grew rapidly, and I eventually published a book sharing my strategies, which ranked No.1 in the AdSense category on the Kmong e‑book platform. Around the same time, I launched a YouTube channel and quickly gained a large number of subscribers. After my channel gained traction, advertising agencies reached out and asked me to produce ads for them, leading me to create more than 500 Shorts‑based advertisements. In addition, I collaborated on advertising projects with major companies such as SK and SK Energy.

  • Reached 70,000 subscribers within two months
  • Regularly invited to Google Korea webinars
  • Produced over 500 YouTube Shorts advertisements
  • Studied various marketing styles and strategies

Waikato Korean School is one of Hamilton's most established community language schools, proudly serving the Waikato region for over 30 years. With approximately 100 students enrolled, the school offers Korean language and cultural history education to a diverse community — including Korean families, multicultural Korean-Kiwi households, and New Zealanders with a passion for learning the Korean language and culture.

During the COVID-19 period, I authored an e-book on Google SEO and Google AdSense as a side project. The book sold 430 copies at NZD 30 per copy. In the same year, it ranked No.1 in the Google SEO/AdSense category on the Kmong freelance platform. In addition, I generated further sales through my personal blog.

Since 2019, I co-founded a freeze-dried food company with friends, securing government funding twice, receiving NZD 60,000 on each occasion (total NZD 120,000). The company focused on developing products for infants, and we collaborated with a New Zealand-based design team to enhance product and brand development. I took a leading role in delivering government project presentations. Later, I stepped away from the business to pursue other projects and transferred the CEO role to my co-founder.
